It turns out that before Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff was a convicted felon, before he became the focus of the Biggest Congressional Scandal In Over A Century, before he was investigated by three grand juries, before he confessed to bribery, fraud and tax evasion, before he bilked Indian tribes out of tens of millions of dollars, before he was linked to the brutal killing of a competitor....he was an incredibly bad filmmaker.

Back in the mid-1980s, after completing his term as Chairman of the College Republicans, Jack headed out to Hollywood to try his dirty hand at film producing. He produced just one film, Red Scorpion, a B-movie dick flick starring Dolph Lundgren. On top of producing, Jack wrote the story. Joseph Zito, the mastermind behind Friday the 13th Part 4, directed the film. And according to Salon.com, South Africa's apartheid government provided props, locations, soldiers, and even funding. And the results of this bizarre collaboration? See for yourself.
